Jennifer: Periodontal Therapist
Jennifer joined the Khanna Dentistry team in 2011 as a Periodontal Therapist. Jen has always had a passion for the health sciences. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Davis. After volunteering at a number of dental offices, she realized she wanted a future in the dental field. She attended the University of California, San Francisco and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.
Jen began practicing clinically in California. In addition, she was a part time clinical instructor for Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Sedation at the University of California, San Francisco. In 2007, Jen obtained laser certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry and World Clinical Laser Institute.
Because of her husband’s job, Jen has been fortunate enough to live and practice periodontal therapy in wonderful places such as California, New York, Washington, and now Illinois.
She values continuing education and loves to pass on the latest information to her patients. She enjoys making her patients feel comfortable and relaxed at all times.
Jen is married to her high school sweetheart, Brent. In her spare time she loves to travel, read, hike, camp, and spend time with her dog, Gus, and cat, Lola.
